The bed features an elegantly curved sleigh headboard that provides a classic silhouette without feeling overly formal. Built into the low-profile footboard are two spacious, smooth-gliding storage drawers accented with round aged pewter-tone metal knobs, providing discreet space for extra bedding, duvet inserts, pillows, or seasonal wardrobes. Engineered with solid poplar framing, select pine veneers, and reinforced laminated solid hardwood slat support rails (LVL) with glued and screwed blocking, the Feddinger bed delivers dependable durability and squeak-free stability. With the included heavy-duty wooden roll-slat foundation, no box spring is required, and the platform design accommodates most zero-clearance adjustable power bases (with the addition of a bunkie board).
